Sandy Stemp is the Chief Operations Officer of Reena and has over 25 years’ experience in the developmental disabilities sector, 20 of those in Senior Management roles.
With a background in nursing, Sandy has leveraged her knowledge in health and aging to application in the developmental disabilities sector, where many individuals with complex needs are reaching senior ages, resulting in the impetus for new modalities in our provision of services. She assisted in the development of the Ontario Partnership on Aging and Developmental Disabilities (OPADD) and continues to act in a leadership role on this Provincial imitative.
Through OPADD, Sandy continues to bring together service providers, government policy makers, planning and research communities from the developmental and long-term care sectors in Ontario to ensure the right of the developmental disability population receives the same health services and supports as all older Ontarian
