Director of Community Support Services at Jewish Family Service Calgary.

She has worked in Jewish Communal Services for over 17 years, starting at the Windsor Jewish Community Centre and Federation as a Senior Services Coordinator. Over the years she worked with Older Adults, Youth, Young Leadership, and Newcomers, in addition to individuals and families facing the daunting challenges of poverty. She has a strong passion for mentoring, social justice and poverty reduction initiatives.

 

Robyn has cultivated a robust program of services for Holocaust Survivors and supports an active team of Older Adult Outreach service providers helping Calgary Seniors to live with dignity, independence and quality of life.

 

Robyn also works closely with CEMA and the Emotional Wellness Response Team in leading response teams during local disasters, including the Calgary floods of 2013 and recently the mass evacuation of the City of Fort McMurray. Robyn holds an Honours’ Psychology Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Windsor, Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University and Masters of Social Work (Leadership) from the University of Calgary.
