As a national organization that represents Jewish Federations, regional councils and communities from across Canada, Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA is only as strong as the community connections on which it was founded. 

Over the past 50 years, we have accomplished incredible things together. Looking forward to the next 50, we are confident the future holds exciting developments.

BIRTHRIGHT ISRAEL

Since 1999, 30,000 young Canadians have achieved a sense of knowing, belonging, and heritage on intensive and transformative 10-day Israel experiences.

MARCH OF THE LIVING

Since 1988, 12,500 Canadians have emerged from the March of the Living with a  stronger identity and a clearer understanding of our past and what it means to be Jewish.  

LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

Canada Israel Experience annually trains hundreds of  dedicated volunteers from across Canada as group leaders for Birthright Israel and March of the Living.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Israel office manages and ensures compliance with legal regulations for more than 260 life altering and community strengthening  projects across Israel.

REGIONAL PROGRAMMING

JFC-UIA provides programmatic  services to regional communities and administrative support to regional councils in Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Saskatchewan.   

ADVOCACY

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) improves the quality of Jewish life in Canada by advancing the public policy interests of Canada's organized Jewish community.

CAMPUS PROGRAMMING

Hillel Ontario strives to inspire every Jewish student in Ontario to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel.

GLOBAL ALLIANCES

Strategic connections to our international counterparts enable us to deepen the global impact and broaden the reach of the Canadian Jewish community.
