For over one hundred years, Federation CJA has been at the heart of the organized Jewish community in Montreal. In partnership with a vast network of agencies and organizations locally, nationally and internationally, Federation CJA builds and sustains this community of 90,000 by providing leadership and by supporting the delivery of services and programs to care for the vulnerable and those in need, to ensure a bright Jewish future, to represent communal interests and to positively affect issues in the wider society.
Federation CJA is currently seeking candidates for the Chief Executive Officer position. As its professional leader, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for ensuring delivery of Federation CJA’s vision and mission, and will be in a position to guide the next centenary of Jewish Montreal.

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Federation CJA’s communal work, including:
- Financial Resource Development
- Planning, Allocations
- the Annual Campaign
- Agency Relations
- Human Resources
- Marketing and Communications
The CEO will be responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan of the Board of Directors together with professional and lay leadership, agency partners and key stakeholders. The CEO reports directly to and works closely with the President and the Board of Directors.
