Special Events
Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA celebrates the lasting and special connections it has with community partners across Canada, Israel and the world. The Canadian Jewish community plays an integral part in supporting Jewish life at home, overseas and in Israel. We recognize that it is thanks to individually committed citizens living across Canada that our national Jewish community is so strong.
During the year, we recognize the impact that these committed lay leaders make at special events, like Southern Hospitality, western Hospitality and Top Donor events.
Southern Hospitality
Southern Hospitality is an annual event in Florida that gather together women from across Canada came together to celebrate and strengthen bonds between each other and between their communities. It is organized on a rotating basis by Federation CJA in Montreal and UJA Toronto with assistance from Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA.
The Major Western Donors Appreciation Event
is an annual event that gathers major donors from the Jewish communities of Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. The event is organized jointly by the Federations in these communities and Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA.
2015 - Guests that attended this year's event at the Palm Springs home of Sandy & Larry Martin enjoyed an intimate evening which included an exclusive update from the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
