  • Community Spotlight: Kitchener-Waterloo

    Despite the stormy weather, 240 people came together on June 14th at the 4th annual Kitchener-Waterloo Walk for Israel in support of youth at risk in Kiryat Shmona, Israel. The 5-kilometre walk was followed by a kosher lunch at Beth Jacob Synagogue sponsored by the Waterloo Region Jewish Community Council.

  • Program Spotlight: Youth Futures

    Youth Futures is a Jewish Agency for Israel program that provides support to at-risk youth in Israel. Trained mentors work as trusted guides to help students improve school performance, strengthen social integration and inspire engagement with the community.


  • Dr. Mordechai Kedar Speaking in Regional Communities

    Starting end-September, Perry Romberg will be travelling to regional communities with Dr. Mordechai Kedar. He holds the Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University. Dr. Kedar is an academic expert on the Israeli Arab population. He served for twenty-five years in IDF Military Intelligence, where he specialized in Islamic groups, the political discourse of Arab countries, the Arabic press and mass media, and the Syrian domestic arena.
