    Every year, as I celebrate Chanukah with my family and the Beth Israel congregation, I’m heartened by the large turnout. While the donuts and dreidels lend our Chanukah event a popular appeal, it is the strong connections that have been created within the local community that account for its success.

  • Arson Unites Peterborough

    On November 14th, the Peterborough community was shocked by the firebombing of a local mosque. Beth Israel Synagogue immediately offered the use of its facilities to hold daily prayers.

    Throughout the month of October, Dr. Mordechai Kedar informed and educated hundreds of Canadians on the Islamic State and its impact on Israel and the world at large.
