Dr. Lindy Zaretsky


Dr. Lindy Zaretsky holds a Ph.D. degree in Education Administration, Theory and Policy Studies from the University of Toronto. Her research, publications, presentations, teaching, and advocacy practices focus on leadership for social justice, values and ethics, inclusion, parent and self-advocacy, and person-directed planning.

 

Over the past three decades, Lindy has served in a variety of executive leadership positions in the education sector and not-for profit social service sector. Lindy is currently President of Reaching Education Resolutions Inc. consulting to organizations serving children, youth, and adults with disabilities.

 

Areas of focus include strategic planning, mediation, program and operational reviews, organizational restructuring, and professional development. She also serves as Board President of the South Asian Autism Awareness Centre (SAAAC). Most recently, Lindy has been selected to serve on the Education Standards Development Committee under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
