Below are just a few of the ways Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA , with its partners agencies in Israel, is investing in youth and education in Israel.


  • Kav Hazinuk

    Kav Hazinuk (meaning Starting Line) cultivates tomorrow’s leaders. The 10-year program coaches talented youth between the ages of 15-25 to become true leaders in their communities and Israeli society. By providing the tools and long-term mentorship required to transform them into the social, political, and business leaders of the future – role models for their and the next generations.

  • Youth Futures

    Youth Futures is a Jewish Agency flagship program that provides community-based mentoring for at-risk pre-teens and adolescents in Israel. Trained mentors work as trusted guides to help students improve school performance, strengthen social integration, and inspire engagement with the community. The Mentors connect youth, families, and communities with local services and resources.

  • Net@

    Net@ increases the social, economic, and educational opportunities of disadvantaged youth from Israel's geographical and social peripheries through technology education. Net@ is an after-school program that instills leadership, personal empowerment and social responsibility values in youth through advanced professional technological skills training over a four-year, modular curriculum.

  • Hafuch al Hafuch

    "Hafuch Al Hafuch" is a national network of Youth Counseling and Support Centers which provide young people with a sympathetic ear, counseling, assistance and support.
    The centres offer group and personal discussions and holds workshops that explore issues of interest to adolescents such as drug and alcohol abuse, violence, parent-child relationships and sexuality.
