Nancy Guberman is a retired professor of Social Work from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She remains involved in research on caregiving as a member of the Centre for research and expertise on social gerontology.
Professor Guberman has been involved in research on caregiving and homecare policy and practice for more than thirty years and has earned an international reputation for her work. She has authored several books and numerous chapters, research reports and scientific articles on these subjects and is often cited by the media. With her colleagues, she has developed the C.A.R.E. Tool, an assessment tool for caregivers.
