Few people live and breathe their work quite like Avital Sandler-Loeff. As the director of Israel Unlimited, she leads in the development of innovative program models for people with disabilities who wish to live independently.
Avital is a leader in the development of innovative models for people with disabilities who wish to live independently, and her work is being implemented throughout Israel. Before joining JDC, Avital worked as a vocational consultant and group facilitator with young adults with psychiatric disabilities. But in the past 18 years, she’s been a trailblazer in JDC, working to bring together government agencies, municipalities, NGOs and academic institutions to advance the needs of people with disabilities.
Avital also serves as the professional coordinator of the JDC Global Task Force on Disabilities, through the JDC Board of Directors. The Task force is focused on making JDC more inclusive around the world.
