National Young Leadership (NYL) is a vibrant, active group that spans coast to coast.  Ranging from post campus--45 years of age, the vision of Young Leadership is to inspire and train our Jewish leaders of today and tomorrow.

Led by the National Executive and Management Team, NYL represents the Jewish Federations and Councils across Canada. Young Leadership can be divided up into subcategories, including the Ben Gurion Society (BGS), Young Leadership Division, Young Adult Division, Young Leadership Campaign, Jewish Chamber of Commerce, and Cabinet.

The Ben Gurion Society includes all Young Leaders who make an annual gift of $1,000+ to their local UJA/ CJA campaigns.  All members are invited to special and unique events on both a local and national level, and special missions and conferences are offered solely to this group. In 2008, the BGS went to Morocco and Israel.

Cabinet is a body that reaches out to Young Leaders who have demonstrated strong leadership abilities and donate $5,000+ to their annual UJA/ CJA campaign. It is a body of the most dedicated young leaders at the highest levels of philanthropic commitment. Those who are invited to join the Canadian Cabinet may attend UJC’s Cabinet retreat every summer.

Young Leadership also offers social programs through the local Young Adult Divisions, leadership training through Young Leadership Divisions, and an opportunity for business professionals to network through the Jewish Chamber of Commerce.
